Bizarre Star Strings is a trio of talented string players (violin, viola, and cello) and singers who specialize in creating arrangements collaboratively in the studio. Based in Portland, Oregon, we have arranged and recorded as a trio with numerous major label and indie artists since 2010, including The Decemberists, My Morning Jacket, First Aid Kit, Case / Lang / Veirs, and Band of Horses.
They nailed everything we threw at them. They excel at coming up with ideas on the spot in collaboration with producer and artist. They speak the language of rock and roll and are equally at home reading complex charts…. I can’t speak highly enough about working with them.
